Signals Grille & Deck - Surveysez!! - 9/8/23
It was a tropical showdown down at Signals Grille & Deck, where eight teams gathered 'neath the swaying palms to play a spirited game of Surveysez!
The competition was fierce, like a "Cheeseburger in Paradise" cook-off. The teams were as colorful as a "Margaritaville" sunset, each one with their own brand of island flair. They were ready to "Fins Up" and give it their all.
But as the game rolled on, it became clear that one team was destined to be the "Son of a Son of a Sailor." The "Creampuffs" sailed through the questions with the precision of a "Pencil Thin Mustache," and they knew their "Boat Drinks" from their "Volcano Nachos." They took home first place and a $25 prize, their victory as sweet as a "Fruitcakes" on Christmas morning.
In second place, we had the "Little Red Riding Boat" team. They navigated the trivia waters with the grace of a "Jolly Mon Sing," narrowly missing the top spot but still winning a $15 prize. Their spirit was as adventurous as "A Pirate Looks at Forty," and they left with smiles as wide as the ocean.
And let's not forget "Rick James & The Giant Peach," who brought the funk and the fruity vibes. They might not have clinched the top spots, but they grabbed a solid $10 prize. Their groovy energy was like a "Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes,"!
As the sun dipped below the horizon, and the palm trees swayed to the rhythm of the night, it was clear that at Signals Grille & Deck, everyone was a winner! With "Cheeseburgers in Paradise" in hand and the sound of "Margaritaville" in the air, it was a perfect night for a little Surveysez and a lot of good old-fashioned fun. So here's to the "Creampuffs," "Little Red Riding Boat," and "Rick James & The Giant Peach" for making it a night we'll all remember, just like a classic Jimmy Buffett song.
